MATI Workshop 2012
Our annual workshop 2012 in Mati, Greece, has been focusing on recent advances in the fields of spatiotemporally driven systems, low-dimensional ultracold scattering and Bose-Einstein condensates. Among the topics covered within these three facets are: resonant directed transport in driven potentials and complex systems, aspects of transmission control and resonant phenomena in low-dimensional settings, artificial gauge fields, as well as various effects in Bose-Einstein condensates. Being a joint venture of the Center of Optical Quantum Technologies at Hamburg University and the Department of Physics at Athens University, the workshop offers the opportunity of creative and open-minded discussions. It addresses in particular challenges and open questions in the above fields.
