Our 2D-MOT for Potassium works

After several weeks of testing, we finally saw our first 2D-MOT on 11.3.16. It took us some time to find correct detuning an polarizations.  The 2D-MOT seems to be pretty dense and is visible on our camera without any problems. We can't wait to use it to load our 3D-MOT.
