Highly efficient generation of coherent light at 2128 nm via degenerate optical-parametric oscillation

Laser wavelength of 2128nm could make gravitational wave observatories significantly more powerful. We show that the existing laser wavelength of 1064nm can be transformed to 2128nm with high efficiency.
