Short Bio:
2011-2013: Research at the University of California, Irvine, USA
I spent the first half of my PhD work at UCI Irvine, where I investigated the use of entangled photons for nonlinear spectroscopy in the group of Prof. Shaul Mukamel.
2011-2015: PhD at the University of Freiburg, Germany
I graduated (summa cum laude) in 2015 under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Buchleitner. My thesis, "Quantum-enhanced nonlinear spectroscopy" can be bought here (and downloaded here).
2015-2020: Postdoc at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom
After my graduation, I joined the group of Prof. Dieter Jaksch in Oxford to work within the ERC synergy grant Q-MAC on the optical control of complex solids.
Since 2020: Young Investigator Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter (MPSD), Hamburg
In October 2020, I moved to Hamburg to start independent research projects.
