Maria Kokkinidou

Maria studied Molecular Biology and Genetics at Democritus University of Thrace in Greece, focusing for her diploma thesis on molecular dynamics simulations of a Rop protein variant with Prof. Nicholas M. Glykos. She moved to London for her MSc in Drug design (2014) at the Institute of Structural and Molecular Biology (UCL and Birkbeck) under the supervision of Dr. Ajit Basak. She joined the group in December 2014 and will carry out her PhD studies in structural enzymology using X-ray crystallography.
