Complex Materials SS2018

These  five videos are showing the BSc students of Nanoscience Program at UHH realising there own idea of a functional device.

They were given:

  • three building blocks: graphene oxide dispersion, PDMS monomer and iron oxide superparamagnetic nanoparticles
  • tools: they followed 14 weeks of complex materials course and now know how to synthesise and assembly nanobuilidng blocks to complex, functional devices.
  • 2 hours for prototyping and making a plan how to implement their idea.
  • 2 x 3 hours in the lab to actually make their own idea to work.
