The Hybrid Nanostructures Lab was established in August of 2017 at the Institute for Nanostructure and Solid State Physics (INF) of the University of Hamburg.
We are part of the Center for Hybrid Nanostructures situated at the Campus Bahrenfeld in Hamburg, Germany.
We work at the interface between physics, chemistry & material science. The goal of our lab is to develop a new synthesis concept aiming at improved sustainability, efficiency & environmental performance of nanomaterials. We study what happens on the nanoscale & how can we translate it into the macroscopic function of a device.
We address these fundamental questions with synchrotron-based methods at the relevant time scales.
We are almost done with setting up the labs. Check here for the current research projects. There is more to come. Stay tuned!
