Pedram is a biophysicist who specializes in method development in time-resolved crystallography and elucidating allosteric behaviours of enzymes. He obtained his PhD in 2017 from the University of Toronto under Prof. Emil Pai. Upon being awarded with a Alexander von Humboldt fellowship, he joined the lab of Prof. Dwayne Miller at the Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter. He now runs a group in the department of Physics as an Emmy Noether Group Leader.
