Dr. Jagadesh Kopula Kesavan

Jagadesh Kopula Kesavan is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher who joined our group in January 2021. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the American College, Madurai, India, a Master's degree in Physics from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India, and a PhD in Nanoscience from Roma Tre University, Italy. Following his doctoral research, he further developed his expertise as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bologna, Italy.

His research focuses on transition metal nitrides, sulfides and high entropy materials for multifunctional applications, utilising synchrotron radiation X-ray spectroscopic techniques for advanced characterisation. 

When not engaged in scientific pursuits, Jagadesh enjoys reading books, playing tennis, travelling, and spending quality time with his family.
