Lucjan Grzegorzewski acquired his PhD degree in nanoscience at the University of Hamburg, where he focused on micro- and nanofluidic systems, microfabrication, and electrical and optical sensing of particles in miniaturized fluidic devices.

Within the group, Lucjan focuses on electrical and optical sensor development in microfluidics, as well as on effective interfaces between microfluidic devices and the outside world. His project develops integrated sensing concepts together with robust fluidic, electrical, and mechanical interfaces, with the aim of making microfluidic systems easier to connect, operate, automate, and integrate into practical experimental workflows.
