From 4–6 March 2026, members of the International Axion Observatory Collaboration met in Hamburg for the 23rd IAXO Collaboration Meeting, co-organised by members of our group and DESY colleagues, with support from the Cluster of Excellence Quantum Universe.
Over the course of three days of presentations, discussions, and technical sessions, collaboration members reviewed recent progress across the project and coordinated the next stages of detector development, with particular focus on the baby-IAXO detector, an important milestone in the realisation of the International Axion Observatory and a key step in advancing the experimental search for Axion, widely regarded as one of the most compelling candidates for Dark Matter.
The meeting provided an opportunity for researchers and engineers across the collaboration to present recent results, exchange ideas, and further strengthen the scientific and technical coordination of the project. We thank all participants for their valuable contributions and look forward to the next phases of work within the IAXO collaboration.
