Welcome home, Project200!

Project200 has returned to the SHELL lab in Hamburg after the successful tests at CERN - both at cryogenic temperatures in the Cryolab as well as in the strong magnetic fields inside CERN's MORPURGO magnet.

Now a dedicated RF measurement campaign is being prepared. The antenna developed for the MADMAX prototype will be used to investigate the radiofrequency behavior of the open booster.

First testbeam of the year

Last week we had our first testbeam of the year. This time, we took data in area T24 of the DESY II test beam facility to test Low Gain Avalanch Diodes (LGADs) at different voltages and under different beam incidence angles.
