Manuel Müller is a PhD student in the group of Dr. Irene
Fernandez-Cuesta. He graduated in nanoscience and completed his
bachelors and master degree at the University of Hamburg. His early
research started with guidance of neurons in semiconductor microtubes
and he continued with Raman spectroscopy on graphene and imprintable
polymers. Currently he investigates the fabrication of suspended
nanochannels and their use as single molecule detectors as part of the
ERC FLUINEMS. In his free time he likes to craft from wood to 3D
Printers, participate in all kind of arts and read.
