The Long Arm of Black Hole Justice: MHD Simulations of Large Scale Jet Propagation

Radio mode feedback is understood to be a vital ingredient in the evolution of cosmic structure. At the same time, observations of radio galaxies and jets can provide important constraints on the process of accretion..I will discuss results from a new generation of MHD simulations of jet propagation to argue that large scale entropy transport in clusters can lead to more efficient feedback and present new observational diagnostics derived from a study of jet propagation in different environments
