Lennart Sobirey performed his bachelor studies in physics from 2010 until 2013 at the University of Hamburg and his master's studies at University of Osaka from 2013 to 2015. In his bachelor thesis work he developed a software for single atom sensitive detection in ultracold gases. During his masters project in the group of Prof. Setsuko Tajima he studied high-temperature superconductors experimentally, with specific focus on the influence of the pseudo-gap on Raman and Arpes spectra.
In the 2015 he joined Prof. Dr. Henning Moritz research group as a PhD student. His research focuses mainly on the investigation on mesoscopic ultracold fermionic gases in two dimensions.
